Family History
Eunice was born July 17, 1783, in Shelburne, Hampshire, Massachusetts. She was the 10th and final child of Nathaniel Miner and Mary Camp. Eunice married Andrew Allen January 3, 1805, in Montpelier, Vermont. In 1827, Eunice gave birth to our direct line ancestor, Nancy Allen, in Willsboro, New York.
Eunice was baptized and confirmed a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints on June 16, 1832. Her husband, Andrew, joined the LDS Church but later apostatized. Eunice and Andrew may have been living separate at the end of their lives. Eunice died April 15, 1866 in Bountiful, Utah. Andrew died in Magnolia, Iowa January 10, 1867.
